so, got back from a rousing evening downtown…spent the night with the med school folk, ah-la Big Truck and the Harp-man…started at Willie’s with a few beers. Mental note…Willie’s bottles are $3!?!?!? Maddness….talk about a few thing, including how Big Truck’s ex has lost uber-weight. He claims it’s not heathly, so I nod the head and keep drinking. From there, went to Tonic for a little dancing. Big Truck, however, has rounds at 7 this morning (poor feller has surgery this rotation), so he headed home. Tonic wasn’t too bad, if a little crowed. Did see Linus Klezia, Jeff Ferguson, and Nate Young of the MU basketball team. Boy, those fellers are tall, and Klezia was surrouned by talent. The fact that he’s going to be worth 10 million soon is not hurting his touch with the ladies.

Many beers later, ended up at home, to see ROOMIE PRIME was here. You see, he had to drive to Georgia to get his younger brother’s stuff from Ft. Benning. The brother has been issued orders to Iraq, and is leaving within the week. Well, needless to say, RP will be out of commision tomorrow as he tries to get his sleep back.

Lastly, checked out some of the consignment stores, looking for a “newsboy” hat…something in brown…didn’t find it anywhere, but got a nice jacket and new trousers….saved $80 bones on them all….not to bad.

Some things that have crossed my mind:

Big Daddy Poth needs to return to the Midwest…staying in mountain-land will lead to his doom

Gina commented on the use of metaphorical names and wants one too…so as not to leave her out, Gina will here by be know as “the Wise One”, both in view that she’s so much smarter than me, and I’ve been reading to much of Robert Jordan

Further, in light of that last sentence, Dana shall be known as “Dana Sedai”, until she transgresses to much, in which I will name her as Darkfriend

The Cubs are hitting, and the pitching is pleasing me

Today, I put on freshly washed trousers, and they fit right away…also, I jogged a mile on Saturday. The quest for the six minute mile takes another step

Money issue one: May only have to pay a $77.50 fine for the noise violation…$100 with court cost…with the money that was graciously donated by the attendees, will have to pay $25 each..YEA!!!

Money issue two: May have finally found out how much I have to pay the Gas-Passers…$233!!!! Which, if you recall, is over a grand less then the intial statement…gotta love some good grovelling

Le Fay (formerly known as “the Girl”) has been added to the links (re: Morgan, at right). Check it out (wha-wha-what’s it all about???)

That was a sad attempt at being cajun…well, typing cajun. What a weekend…spent the most of it talking to a friend up north online, and working on Biochem. Argh, I say. It’s been rough in the world these last few days. I fear that our Holy Father is on his last leg…Inserting a tube into one’s throat for breathing purposes is never a good sign. As is beinging in the hospitol twice in such a short period. I knew I would live to see the election of a new pope, but I don’t want to have to morn the last…

The Chicago Connection, the Mad Greek, hooked me up with some wicked Cubs tickets. The Friday afternoon game in June with the BoSox…which means I’ll have to spend the WHOLE WEEKEND in Chicago. Also, bleacher tickets for the game where they are retiring Ryno’s Number to the flag pole. That game is going to make me cry. That man was and is one of my heros. If I had the talent and skill to play baseball, I would have been a second baseman with just a bit of power and great feet. When I go to spring training next year, I will get his autograph and picture…This I vow.
