Saw “Don Giovanni” with the girl last night….awesome. If you ever get the chance to see this, with international actors, do. It’s easy to tell why most critics say this may be the perfect opera, and the greatest thing Mozart ever wrote. The only problem was with the translations. When you watch an opera these days, with so few people having a background in Italian (though some words are noticable…like “no”), the theater will have the translations shown above the stage (which then it is important to sit in the back…had W, 11 and 12…best seats there). Well, the chuckle-head that was doing the translations screwed it up royally…which is really suprising….i mean HOW HARD IS IT TO RUN A PROJECTOR!!!! idiots.

And, the tigers won the game last night too…..Funny, I was so stereotypical…took a radio into the opera with me, so I could check the score during the scene changes.

I’m also wondering if I could plug roommate’s x-box into the projector in the libary in the building…wouldn’t have good sound, but playing Halo 2 on a nine feet by 12 screen would kick ass….
