So, I finally made it back to work…for an extensive two hours. And I am tired. Not sure how I’m going to survive the game on Saturday. Most likly only a half in it for me, and most likly no tailgating to speak of. The worst is that it’s not really my knee that’s hurting all that much, but that my thigh does. You see, for some reason, when my quads revolted during the surgery (which is normal), they decided that my vastus lateralus (or the outside muscle) would be bomb. So, now I have a gigantic charlie horse in my leg, that has lasted a week. At PT, they took a rolling pin to my leg in an effort to get it out. Didn’t work as well as I would have thought. But, my ROM is getting there, and the swelling has gone down a lot. My leg still looks like someone took a nine iron to it, but it’s a festive yellow and purple…just like high school.
