Today, I come to you from the great windy north…ie, my parents house. There really is nothing like coming home, where the food is home cooked, and the oppertunity to sleep for crazy hours in your own bed. Also, my dad is having a new back end put on the garage, so I learned how to do some wiring. Learning new stuff everyday. And, on top of it all, tomorrow I get to see my niece…YAH!!!

On a more painful side of things, my knee is finally going to get fixed. June 15th, I get cut, then six months of rehab…bring on the weights. Wouldn’t be worrying as much, but I tweeked it again Wednesday, and may have torn some more of my cartilage. Soon, won’t have any thing in there but pain…it really is a great feeling to know at 26 that you’ll most likly have to have a total knee replacement before you retire.

Lastly, I want you all to know that the column on the ways and means of females is forth coming. Or not….we’ll see

Being lazy, I have determined, it an artform…and something that I still need to master. How, you may inquire? Well, had someone pop by that commented on how of all the houses she had been to that were inhabited by men, that Case de Reggie is the cleanest. This is due to when I get bored, I clean. So today, while watching the sudden downpours ruin an outside oppertunity, caused me to vaucum the house, do the dishes, all my laundry, talk to my parents, and dust. So, either I need to practice the fine art, or I’m really domesticated, and any future wife will dig me more.

On a more satisfing note, besides the fact I’m makeing popcorn, is that the CUBS took two of three from ye olde smelly pants, the Cards. And held the most prolific offense in the league to 11 runs. Good stuff. Now I must sit and await word on which starter will go on the DL next.

On an additional happy note, I learned today that Lauren B, from church, got engaged. There’s something about some other girl I know getting ringed…I think I cry or something. Yea for her, boo to me. Also, I go to the doc tomorrow for my knee…start the count-down to surgery…

Oh nelly….here we go. Time to talk about what we as men need, yet what is to us a disease most foul…girls. Now, I don’t claim to be an expert on the ways and means of the female gender. Sure, I know how they work, biologically and such, but the great mystery, the great question, is how they think…more over, what they think about you. It’s a difficult thing to examine, and I am most likly way off the mark…but hey, almost counts in a lot of things, like hand gernades. Horseshoes too…but I digress….

In fact, I punking out…I really am not going to talk about this now. Must gather my thoughts, and my hamstrings are really hurting. But, I did go 1-2, reached on an error, scored a run, and got my average to 300…not to bad. Plus, no errors, so that is good for me. Yea for city league softball…also, my CUBBIES and the birds this weekend…good times, good beer, and good beer….PEACE!!

I forget to add this before, so I’m doing it now…when reading my random thoughts and more random ramblings, it is important to remember that I am going into neurophysiology. Thusly, if you see a misspelled word, or a slight gramatical error…let it slide. I planned on fixing this problem by marrying a english grad student, but as you may be able to tell, that didn’t go really according to plan…women…now that would be a good column. Long, but good, I would think.

Ok kids…I’m into this blog thing…that mean that your all in for it….but first, I must thank are beloved admin, for setting this up. Now you can all deal with what I’z got to say…or, you can not…

Now, of course, I’ve got to think of something snappy to say. One would think that it wouldn’t be that difficult, for a man of so many words. I could spend some time discussing my feeling for the Sonic commercials, but that’s old (I do, for the record, hate them). But Dan, HE’S MY BOY!!!!, so I won’t get to intense on that…not for a while.

But, oddly enough, I did finish the semester today. But Augie, the semester was over on Friday, you say. Well, not for me. You see, when you’re in grad school, schedules don’t always mean a whole lot. The guest speaker that we wanted to come and learn us had to come a week later…so, the final got moved. Now, if it had stayed in its original time, then I would have had the final, a 45 min departmental seminar, and a 5-10 page paper and a 20 min presentation on three consecutive days…and most likly, someone would have paid dearly. So, I all were saved, and I manage to utterly destroy each of the three quests…yea for me
